Historic Abergavenny Castle and Museum Go Green with Measures taken for Carbon Reduction

ABERGAVENNY, WALES – The feudal Abergavenny Castle and its Regency Museum have embraced modern sustainability with new carbon reduction initiatives. Thanks to Welsh Government Capital Transformation Grant, the historic site now equipped with solar panels, an efficient heating system, thermal blinds, as well as secondary glazing. These upgrades aim to save the castle’s structure, improve visitor comfort, and contribute to the global climate efforts.
